5 Kitchen Wonders for Your Hair
It’s easy (and inexpensive) to get great hair with these 5 ingredients from the kitchen.
1. Avocado
Avocado is a very useful moisturizer because of its high fat content. It is rich in natural oils and vitamin E. You can use it as a conditioning treatment by mashing it into a paste then applying it to your hair. Wrap your hair with a towel or shower cap, and let it stay for 15 to 30 minutes. It’s that easy!

2. Eggs
To restore your hair’s shine, crack an egg. Seriously! Beat 1 egg yolk, mix in half a teaspoon of olive oil and add 3/4 cup water. Use it as you would your normal conditioner. Make sure you’re not allergic to eggs, though!
3. Apple Cider Vinegar
For those who use hair gel and other products that leave residue, you guys need a great hair rinse to remove all that gunk and to restore your hair’s luster. The magic potion is a combination of 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 4 cups of water. Rinse your hair with this solution, then rinse it again with tap water.
4. Brewed Coffee
Aside from keeping you awake and alert, brewed coffee can enhance the hair color of brunettes. Let your brewed coffee cool down (of course), then pour it to your hair. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes, rinse, then repeat. Ta-da! Your haircolor is now as perky as you are.
5. Cornstarch
Suffering from oily hair? A light dusting of cornstarch will do the trick. It will absorb your excess scalp oil in a few minutes. To remove the cornstarch, just brush it out.
